Nigerian Education System, Outlook in 2019

On today's post are going to be looking at the Nigerian educational system, outlook 2019. Over the past 10 years the Nigerian educational system has been porous and this has lots of damage on the Nigerian educational system. In a country where things work effectively, enough funding is provided yearly to carry out research and development by the various higher institutions of that country. In our case the Nigerian government does not pay attention needs of the universities.

In the just concluded elections the Nigerian universities should be hoping that the government includes in the budget for the year all that has been agreed upon by the association of students staff union ASSU. when their needs are met they will be drastic improvement in the educational system and this will lead to increase in better research by the various institutions. Hopefully more infrastructures will be built and salaries will be paid to lecturers as at when due. We could only hope that these promises made by the federal government will be met and this will be for the good of everybody in the country and not for one mans' good.

Therefore, all hands should be on deck to make sure that the educational system of the country in this year 2019 will be met and all parastatals involved carry out their own beats for the betterment of the educational system in the country. The Nigerian educational system has to be better going forward. Students are tired of going on strike every time and they spend so much time at home doing nothing there are no jobs for them to engage in even when they are on strike. This leads to increase in crime rate and this has to stop going forward in this year 2019.
